The Greene County Development Authority ("GCDA") is
responsible for the retention and attraction of quality
business development in the county and five incorporated
cities.  We interface with our neighboring counties to
collectively market and promote our area attractions and
benefits.
The GCDA is made up of six
members appointed by the
Board of County Commissioners
and the cities of Greensboro
and Union Point.  The six
members are:

The GCDA works actively with the Lake Oconee
Area Development Authority to promote the lake
area.  We host the Greene County Manufacturers'
Council in support of our existing industry program.  
Georgia Department of Economic Development,
Georgia Power Company, the Georgia Electrical
Membership Corporation and other statewide
economic development professionals.
