Products & Services

Ambassador Program:  Chamber members volunteer and are selected to serve as ambassadors to represent the Chamber at events such as ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings.  These volunteers also assist with fundraisers throughout the year. 

Business After Hours:  Monthly networking from 5-7 p.m. at a featured business location.  This is a great sponsorship and networking opportunity for members. 

Business Spotlight of the Week:  A business member is featured in the local news media eah week.  Members are randomly selected for the feature. 

Chamber Report:  Quarterly insert in the Lake Oconee News, published by Smith Communications. 

Coffee and Cards:  Networking breakfast sponsored by member business.  Great wasy to meet other members and gain referrals.  

Discounts:  The Chamber offers several programs that may help save your business money on health insurance, workmans compensation and email marketing. 

Food for Thought:  Quarterly training/education opportunity to hear guest speakers discuss best practices, leadership skills, and other business topics.  This is offered to members and non members for minimum costs. 

Putnam-Greene Young Professionals:Putnam Greene Young Professionals (PGYP) brings together the young professionals of Lake Oconee to connect, give back to our community and engage in leadership and developmental training.

Member to Member Discounts:  Members are encouraged to do business with other members.  Members who offer discounts to other members are featured in our member to Member Discount Program.  Participants are listed on the Chamber website.  

Ribbon Cuttings & Groundbreakings:  These events are hosted for new members or members who are re-opening their business under new management or new circumstances. 

Small Business Development Center (UGA):  Through the Chmaber's relationship, member's have access to the SBDC in Athens.  They offer information and assistance regarding how to open small businesses, business development and many other issues facing small business owners. 

Website, E-blasts, and Social Media:  Chamber staff updates the website and maintains social media connections with its members.  Members have the ability to have their websites linked to the Chamber site.
