The Greene County Chamber of Commerce Announces Its February Non-Profit of the Month

The Greene County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the February 2023 Greene County Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit of the Month. The following recipient has been selected based on their exemplary contributions of service and community involvement in Greene County and the surrounding area.

Non-Profit of the Month – Festival Hall

Festival Hall was awarded the Greene County Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit of the Month award.

Their ongoing commitment to offer everyone affordable access to the Arts is vital to the education and growth of performing arts. Festival Hall also offers a beautiful, local venue for weddings, school events, concerts, plays, and community meetings.  Their unwavering efforts to bring a variety of entertainment to this area make Festival Hall an invaluable asset to the community.

Festival Hall’s mission is to serve as a gathering space that enhances the range, quality, and accessibility of cultural arts in the Greensboro, Greene County, and Lake Oconee region. Festival Hall is currently seeking sponsors and donors from the broader community. “An investment in Festival Hall is an investment in our community,” says Nicole Chillemi, Executive Director. “A historic building requires significant and costly maintenance, and we need to periodically upgrade our lights, sound, and other equipment in order to attract top talent and event promoters to the area.
